چکیده

Laccase production capacity of newly isolated fungus Ganoderma lucidum was studied during solid state fermentation on substrates. Because wheat bran detected as the most effective substrate, effect various culture parameters and some inducers laccase in media investigated. Wheat with moisture content 75%, pH 5.0 30 °C medium 10 mM copper addition supported highest amount laccase. In glass tray fermenter 2973±220 U/L activity obtained. Crude gave at 70 °C. It stable 60°C for 6 hours retained 37% 2 hours. decolorized 61% Remazol Brilliant Blue R within 20 min. Results showed that this strain could produce high suitable inducer such induce its production. The crude obtained be used textile dye decolorization applications.

Dye Decolorization using Fungal Laccase

The increasing use of synthetic dyes is alarming and their discharge as textile waste may cause substantial ecological damage. Biological decolorization of dye using microorganisms is an environmentally friendly and costcompetitive alternative to chemical methods. This study involves the application of laccase obtained from Pleurotus ostreatus, a common fungus, in decolorization and degradation...

Solid State Fermentation for Production of Chitosan by Aspergillus Niger

The effect of Solid State Fermentation (SSF) on Chitosan production by A. niger was investigated. A. niger BBRC 20004 from Biochemical and Bioenvironmental Research Centre of Sharif University of Technology (Tehran, Iran), was grown on corn residue. Chitosan was extracted from the fungal mycelia using hot alkaline and acid treatment. A. niger was incubated for 12 days on corn residue with moist...

Induction of fungal laccase production under solid state bioprocessing of new agroindustrial waste and its application on dye decolorization

Lignocellulosic wastes are generally produced in huge amounts worldwide. Peach waste of these obtained from fruit juice industry was utilized as the substrate for laccase production by Pleurotus eryngii under solid state bioprocessing (SSB). Its chemical composition was determined and this bioprocess was carried out under stationary conditions at 28 °C. The effects of different compounds; coppe...

Potential of solid-state fermentation for laccase production

Solid-state fermentation (SSF) processes involve the growth of microorganisms (typically fungi) on a solid material in the absence or near absence of free-flowing water. The wide range of solid materials used in SSF can be classified into two great categories: inert (synthetic materials) and non-inert (organic materials). The former only acts as an attachment place for the fungus, whereas the l...

Optimization of laccase production by two strains of Ganoderma lucidum using phenolic and metallic inducers.

Ganoderma lucidum (Curtis) P. Karst is a white rot fungus that is able to degrade the lignin component in wood. The ability of two strains of this species to produce the ligninolytic enzyme laccase was assessed. After the evaluation of induction with heavy metals and phenolic compounds, it was found that among the tested substances, copper and ferulic acid are the best laccase inducers. It was ...
